In the video, Yash’s character is shown in a strange love-making sequence while a full-blown gangster setup unfolds in the background. At the same time, there’s planning for an explosion in a cemetery.

It’s chaotic. It’s messy. And it feels pointless.

For most of the video, it genuinely looks like a shady fragrance commercial — until things suddenly explode. That sudden shift doesn’t feel powerful; it feels desperate.

What Is Even Happening in This Video?

Style Over Substance — And Even the Style Misses

Yash’s hat and beard honestly have more personality than Raya himself in this two-minute clip. We learn nothing about who this character is, what he stands for, or why we should care.

In a time when Indian cinema is pushing visual and storytelling boundaries, this introduction feels dated. The makers seem obsessed with looking edgy, spicy, and bold — but the result is loud, empty, and uncomfortable to watch.

The 70s pulp fiction inspiration is clearly visible, but inspiration alone is not enough. Without substance, it just feels like a badly packaged visual experiment.

A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups… or Just Grown-Up Cringe?

When Yash described this film as a “fairy tale for grown-ups,” I honestly didn’t expect this kind of cringe-provocative presentation. A fairy tale should spark imagination, mystery, or emotion — not confusion and second-hand embarrassment.

This introduction video doesn’t tell a story. It doesn’t set a mood properly. It just throws random elements together and hopes the shock value will work.

For me, it doesn’t.

Final Thoughts

This introduction video simply does not work. It feels unnecessary, outdated, and confused about its own identity. From a pan-India star like Yash, this is disappointing.

That said, this is just an introduction teaser. There’s still hope that upcoming promos, trailers, and story details will offer something better — something that actually justifies the hype around the film.
